Our goal is to encourage our customers to bring their children to experience our food and secondly, to provide a level of education as well as pleasure from their dining experience. The children will have their own menu designed by our 7-year-old son Max and his friends. At 7, Max likes his food with one or two flavours clearly defined. He does not like his food to contain chillies or other extreme flavours. Max attends Darlinghurst Public School which has recently started a vegetable garden. This has given Max and other children a great love of raw vegetables. At Bei Amici we feel it is important that children know how to behave and enjoy eating at restaurants. Felix Rutz, owner and head chef of Bei Amici will speak to the children about how everything was cooked and (hopefully) answer all their questions During the "Week of Tastes" we will be opening Bei Amici from 5.30pm.
