Our Week of Tastes Menu helps kids to start eating properly by understanding their food and its origins.

Food is the most historical thing on earth and at Restaurant Arras we draw on this history to tell a story through our food. We have created a menu to enlighten young people's tastes and appreciation of food, a menu of "Old Hat" classics and childhood favourites.

The menu spans dishes Adam and Lovaine ate as kids but with a modern twist. There will also be newer dishes that draw inspirations from food, ingredients and producers in the British countryside.

Week of Tastes Children's Menu @ Restaurant Arras

"The Raw and The Cooked"
A preparation of some 40+ ingredients, all vegetables and edible cress etc, to show the versatility of the humble vegetable, raw, cooked, pureed, marinated etc

"Savoury Ducks"
Harking back to my youth, this dish is a peasant dish not dissimilar to rissoles. It is ground meats, spiced (NotHot) then made into a hash. My mum would serve this with peas and Worcester Sauce, which we will do too, however, I will make house made Worcester sauce.

"Bananas In Pyjamas"
A dessert of everything banana! Banana ice cream, chocolate mousee, deep fried banana, chocolate covered banana, banana tuille and praline.
